I find myself becoming more and more of a gear snob lately (Which a bit like this key-turning snob in this admittedly funny as hell pic). Why? Well the funny thing is I used to always take the high moral ground and defend others right to play in whatever the hell they could muster. Got a crappy geared alt in quest blues and AH greens? Sure bring em in.

Alas, post BC, the high ground soon turned out to be nothing but soft cheese and sank into the soggy mess where the rest of the WoW pvp crowd resides, yelling things like "PWND U NUBZ!" and other such gems and now, I can't but help look at other players gear and think "You Fucking Cocksucker... I earned a truckload of arena gear from having my face smashed into the keyboard week after week just so I can have a donkeys chance in winning a BG now and then and you come in here with that shit?"

I do realise everyone has to start somewhere. But there is no excuse to make sure that start is losing ten fucking games in some form of arena. AND hey presto, 5 weeks later here's your first piece! Congratulations you are now better geared than 80% of your alliance team-mates in any BG of your choice, bar AV.

I think the mentality that you have to be geared for arenas by participating in normal BGs is the chief fault here. If these bastards would get it right (which currently is whatever I'm doing /grin) and realise that if your a shitty pvper (like yours truly), you should be getting arena gear only to do better in the BGs.

So get a clue... No I don't want you in my WSG unless you have 4/5 merciless gladiator, at least then your gear will help make up for the fact that you run away from the flag carrier, who incidently is getting chased by 9 horde and prevent you from getting owned by their solitary prot specced warrior flag carrier.

... Then again... maybe it wont.

Hmm if you found your way here I'm guessing you may have seen the twins on the EoD main page.

Alright I'm the first to admit twins creep me. Actually also the first second and third. Sadly I have to keep this to myself usually as to avoid a permanent ban form this blog. "Oh wait!" you cry "But MD your telling us all now!" (or "You're going to be banned? #@$ YEAH!). Well you'd have a point but fear not, I am safe.

You see the personality of twins very frequently fall under a dominant/submissive archetypes and luckily for me the dominant twin (the one who would wrath upon me like only a hell spawned double could (oh and don't worry Rip we're all her bitch /grin)) rarely visits here so I'm free to type my opinion and post this!

May this image be a lesson to those who play together and roll identical looking toons and a warning to those who may consider it!

Oh and in other cliches, while I was doing research... well actually trying to remember the name of that Bollywood type flimclip that the Draenei male dance originated. I came across an interesting video.

Maybe not quite as well done as the er... Other One with the er... dancing, but I've often been asked by adoring female druids "MD Oh em gee! Your a God! Sex m... I mean where do all the dances come from?" *Disclaimer - May not represent actual events.

This video, while maybe not 100% correct in some cases, may be your best bet to finding out.

Almost daily now.

Sometimes I have so much sympathy for theses guys. Recently an interesting conversation with Aiyann... I can't spell it so screw it... Winnter, brought up some good points regarding the lackeys of Corporate PR.

They must justify the decisions of uncaring Gods on a daily basis. Think of them as Angels or maybe more appropriately Priests, except they get paid to be abused and can only smite/chastise you with sharp witticisms, biting sarcasm or sometimes if your really bad, flaccid temporary forum bans.

And let's face it in the World that is Warcraft the developers are Gods. They have free reign to toy with the lives of millions without having to answer to any of them. No need to justify their actions and importantly for them time means nothing. What's 2 years of waiting for a class fix to a God? NOTHING FOOLISH MORTAL... OH AND LOLZ!

Don't believe me? Well the funny thing is that I'm sure somewhere in the lorelol there is meant to be a whole pantheon of WoW Gods that the denizens of Azeroth worship but within this world within a world who are the real Gods you pray to or curse, when you, who controls your characters every thought and action, hopes for a "class balance" or a "patch" for some wayward useless bug ridden ability or in those moments when you hurl your anger into sky screaming "WTF BLIZZ FIX THIS BS NAO!!!!"?

Just recite the gospels my son, they will bring you comfort:

"We are looking into it"

"Please have patience"

"We may or may not implement said changes"

There has been criticisms (The Pigeons how they STARE SO!) that I The (Great?) MD do not really post anything remotely to do with the EoD guild. Well today I remedy that and silence the critics by slicing their thro... proving them wrong.

May I introduce Neitheri.

She enjoys long walks by the Sithilid Hive and pulling 12 inch long totems out of her... POCKETS YOU SICK BASTARDS! And she is in End of Dreams <--- Hah. But why play a female toon? You're a guy isn't that like you know weird and stuff? Dude? Lets just say it's about 12,000 dollars cheaper than the RL operation and probably enormously less painful. Plus I get to keep the bit they (painlessly) remove and they kindly attach it to the base of my spine. Think of it more of a relocation of sorts. Anyway for the sake of the children this post will now be brought back into the G-rated realm by this!

Sound advice.

Well it's AV weekend and already the vultures darken the clear mountain air wearing little cowboy hats with the letters "AFK" stitched into the brim. That's right, over the last three months it has become progressively "cooler" to queue up and demonstrate your mad pvp skillz by pressing spacebar in the cave every couple of minutes while jacking off to nude pics of Heath Ledger (Cowboys hats, mountains and homophobes... It worked to well for me to pass up;)) and let me tell you, the guards are very impressed by your ability to reach for the tissues reel fast!

Okay jokes aside, It may seem like I'm very much against this kind of behaviour, but in reality I do see things from their perspective (except the Heath Ledger part. I'd be more of a Jake Gyllenhal kind of guy, if I swung that way /grin). AV, as it stands now, leaves a lot to be desired but still remains the highest toke of honour for most people. Thus, they claim, forces them to endure it. Even the people who loved the BG and dissed the leachers, are now starting to reach for their tissu... er spacebar and the number of AFKers increases.

In some ways the whole "Can't beat em join em" attitude is kind a great way to send a clear message to The Man(tm). The theory appears to go something like this: "If everyone AFKs aka the 2% of Wow players that aren't bots, farmers or gurlzgamer stalkers, then The Man has no choice but to meet our demands and change things." and that's what we see happening with the latest round of Blue giving (in that wonderfully half-vague PR manner of the CM) sweeping changes to that war-torn valley that has been a little less war-torn of late.

So they want to make people want to play AV again? Well I want to want to want to see people play again and typically there where some amazing suggestions right back at the beginning of the whole phenomenon given in a constructive, thoughtful manner, with one of the best suggestions being: Heroic AV. This was just a AV that would run parrallel to the current that offered players a chance to participate in the "Old School AV" before it received the last set of sweeping changes.

Naturally they were not and will not be implemented.

I for one say bring back Korrak and reinvest a bit of comedy into AV again. Sadly The Amazing Drysc proves yet again The Man is far too busy designing more and more with extra more content to fix any of the old.

I don't know about you but I'm very psyched to have the opportunity to miss even more obsolete new content!

It certainly wasn't me... Oh wait yes it was, but never mind, I say plenty of things that are quickly refuted (usually within 10 seconds). Fortunately lack of a short term memory means I forget that I was refuted, therefore saves the embarrassment of being refuted... Of which I would forget anyway... Wait what was I talking about? LOLZCWATIDIDTHAR?

Oh and let's quickly define the parameters of the term "Epic" when reffering to a WoW movie.

1. It involves a Druid, Druids or cat/kittens.

2. It has no emo music. This also includes pictures, written references, soundbytes giving mention of emo bands playing emo music ever. (FUCK YOU MY CHEMICAL ROMA... Oops I'm doing the hypocrite shuffle).

If you think Hawthorne Heights accurately depicts the mood and feeling of WSG then I and no one else on this planet can help you. I really believe there is no Hell but the one you create for yourself, I'm sorry you have to suffer so. /grin
